Dr. Mike Dash, post-doctoral fellow in the laboratory of Drs. Paul Gold and Donna Korol, accepts tenure-track position in Behavioral Neuroscience/Biopsychology at Middlebury College, Middlebury, VT

Postdoctoral fellow Mike Dash is one of two new tenure-track hires in the department of Psychology at Middlebury College. Dr. Dash received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011.  He came to Syracuse University in 2012 to study under Neuroscience Faculty members Paul Gold and Donna Korol. He will begin his tenure-track position in August of 2014.  At Middlebury, Mike will be teaching courses within the psychology department that primarily explore the biological underpinnings of behavior and cognition.  His research will focus on elucidating the physiological and behavioral consequences of spontaneous brain activity with particular attention to the effects of spontaneous activity on sleep, learning and memory, and cerebral metabolism.
